As part of the Fun A Day Dundee 2021 Online Exhibition, we had many of our amazing participants from the project join in over the weekend to provide activities, giveaways, virtual studio visits, paint-a-longs, visual designs and music! As we have a variety of people who join in every year, we always see a new collection of people, ensuring a varied selection of work and online activities!
One of our participants, Karen Morris, aka size3art teamed up with Fun A Day to provide a creative activity for all ages to join in on!
People were invited to decorate creative blob shapes in any way they like. Digitally, or through printing out the designs and drawing/painting! Our online exhibition ran over the weekend 9th-11th April, showcasing almost 100 of our January participants fun, creative, arty and relaxing projects they committed themselves to over the course of the month. On social media, we had our schedule of blog posts, activities and giveaways too, making the weekend more fun, even with social distancing in place.
We love how the public interact with our activities, especially by getting their families involved! We’re really impressed with the responses, and look forward to seeing more creative work from people in the future. Above is an example of the blank shapes that are available to decorate.

With the challenges of covid-19, and having 2 socially distanced fun-a-days these past 2 years, we’ve made the effort to find new ways of connecting with our community and helping people be creative!
