Ed Muirhead – Exhibition Blog Post

Ed Muirhead –
Exhibition Blog Post

We wanted to share the fun a bit further for our online exhibition, so we asked our longest running participant; Ed Muirhead to entertain us & share his Fun A Day projects from over the years! This evening (Saturday 1st Aug) we’ll post a special video performance by Ed which he filmed at home especially for the online exhibition.

Check out this fantastic web page for all his Fun A Day projects here. It contains Fun A Day’s from 2014 to 2020! You may recognise Ed from previous exhibition opening nights where he performed for us at WASPS Artist Studios in Dundee.

Previous projects have combined song writing, place, painting, and playful art together to create a range of bright, musical and intriguing pieces of work.

“Fun A Day really inspires me each January to be creative in an every-day-down-to-earth way!  It’s a fresh start to the year, and it’s an added bonus to see what others come up with during their creative month!” – Ed Muirhead

Dundee singer-songwriter Ed Muirhead blends folk and rock influences in his songs, weaving everyday observations with deeper thoughts along to catchy tunes. Whether it’s a heartfelt ballad about love and destiny, or a moan about likes and shares, the songs may make you move, laugh, cry, think, or all of the above. Listen to his music here.
