And that’s a wrap!

Wow! January passed by so fast. We can’t quite believe the making, creating and doing has come to an end for another year.

It has been a bumper year for Fun A Day Dundee. We’ve had over 100 (original count 156) participants taking part creating all sorts of projects from writing to computer drawing, jewellery making to crochet.

Our social meets have been a real success this year too. We’ve held regular get-togethers at @blend_dundee and @thebachbistro where people taking part in Fun A Day can chat, drink coffee, eat cake and talk about their creative journeys.

The fun’s not over!

January might be over, but there’s still plenty fun to be had! There’s a social meet/project share on 21st of February at @dukescorner, Dundee from 6-8pm. This is another great chance for participants to come along and chat and share their projects if they want to.

We also have a really fun crochet challenge for people to take part in as part of our preparations for the annual Fun A Day Dundee exhibition in April. We want to make  bunting to decorate the venue, and we’re looking for keen crocheters to create triangles and flowers to create a communal piece.

This is open to anyone, not just FADD participants, so if you’d like to take part, send us a message on social media or email funadaydundee@gmail.com and we’ll hook you up (see what we did there?) with patterns and yarn recommendations.
