My Fun A Day Story |Drew Marr

Every year we are inspired by the variety of skills on show during Fun A Day in Dundee. We want you to be inspired too, so we’re sharing some of our previous participants’ stories as we get ready for Fun A Day Dundee 2020!

Whatever you’d like to create, we want to see it!

Let’s hear from 11-year-old Drew Marr, a comic book artist who took part in 2019.

‘I loved being part of Fun A Day Dundee. My favourite part was making new friends and seeing everyone’s ideas displayed together at the exhibition.’

‘It has also given me more confidence in talking about my work and what I do.’

‘I am looking forward to taking part in 2020 too!’

Over the 2019 exhibition, Drew chatted with visitors and brought along a couple of his amazing comics. It was great for people to discuss with Drew his interest and goals in person. One thing some participants enjoy about FADD is that if they wish, they can connect, talk and share their projects and interests with other creative minds in person at social meets or during the public exhibition.
